RI - IPL is pleased to be working in partnership with the innovative Project 20/20 program. The project's goal is to install 15,000 CFL bulbs in low-income households in greater Providence by 2009. The bulbs are supplied at no cost by Wal-Mart, the installation teams are Brown students working as volunteers, and referrals come from RI - IPL and other community organizations. The result will be a reduction in carbon emissions in our state, and lower electric bills for the families involved. Visit www.proj2020.org for more information.
