Body:	As a member of the Rhode Island faith community I am writing to urge you to reconsider and reevaluate your decision regarding the application of Christ the King Church under the applicant Nexamp. There are many benefits to this proposal -- green energy for the church instead of fossil fuel, green jobs for the workers who would install and maintain it, leadership by example to all of Rhode Island by the faith community. Our Department of Energy Resources officials agreed and we were awarded a very competitive $28,000 in federal stimulus (ARRA) funds. Denial of the application by your office undermines the RIEDC Strategic Plan for the REF, which states "...work collaboratively and leverage the resources of other governing bodies, specifically the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources." I feel that your decision to deny the grant application is short-sighted, and denies the value of leadership by example for the rest of the RI faith community. Please reconsider your decision Mr. Dash for the sake of all of Rhode Island.
